60-year-old Indra Nooyi is the PepsiCo CEO, one of the world's biggest brands. She is the first woman and the first non-American to reach this position. was born in a middle class family in Tamil Nadu.
Her father worked in the bank
and mother took care of both daughters.Indra 's sister Chandrika is associated with Tandon
Music and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2001.
Indra 's mother often asked her daughters what they
wanted to be
when they grew up. The better answer of the two sisters would
have
been rewarded. The mother had a special reason for doing this. She wished Indra
and Chandrika could think of a great job. They can dream of doing something big
in their life.
After doing a diploma
in management from IIM Kolkata, Indra spent some time at Johnson & Johnson and some other
companies. With the money collected from salary, she decided to go to
America and get a master's degree. Due to good grades, she got admission
in Yale University, but needed money to pay the fees. For study fees, she
studied in the first half of the day and worked as a receptionist from midnight
to morning.
After paying the
college fees, Indra bought the suit for herself from the
remaining money. She bought this suit for a new job interview where she
went to wear it. Her suit looked strange due to the pants' length at the
heel. Due to this, she was rejected in the interview. Indra was shocked by this. When she discussed
this with her professor, he advised Indra to wear comfortable clothes. In the next interview she went
wearing a sari and got a job. Indra still goes to office wearing a sari occasionally. She is
called the CEO of Sari.

After getting a job at
the US-based Boston Consultancy Group, nothing was easy for Indra. No one considers them less than men, so
she works day and night. At that time, people outside of America,
especially Asians, were not considered very capable. Indra used to give excellent results in her work,
so that no one can deny her being un-American.
Indra congratulates the parents of around 400
senior executives of PepsiCo every year by writing a letter. These letters
mention the successes of her son or
daughter. Through the letter, she also describes what her children are
doing at PepsiCo. Indra says that when she came to India to meet her
mother for the first time after becoming CEO, people were saying
congratulations to her mother instead of congratulating her. This made
them understand that the biggest reason for the success of children is their
parents. Therefore, parents should know about their children's work and
achievements.
When Indra was in school, she used to get very angry. That
is why her friends and acquaintances would call her 'wild'. She played
guitar in school bands. She was also a member of the all-girls cricket
team. However, most girls did not participate in all these activities
during that time.
Indra Nooyi is a vegetarian. She keeps a statue of
Lord Ganesha in her office. Indira Nooyi is fond of music. Her
coworkers say that she keeps humming songs in office too.
Indira, who has been
holding the position of chief executive officer of PepsiCo since 2006, says
that how the company needs to grow is always in her mind. Many times,She do not sleep overnight. Indira does
not sleep more than four hours.

Donald Trump has included Indira Nooyi in the Strategic and Policy Forum. This
forum will inform Trump about government policy, job creation and productivity.
