1. Diabetes management app Wellthy raised $4 million from Saama Capital
Diabetes management startup Wellthy Therapeutics raised $4.2 million in Pre-Series A from Saama Capital, at an approximate $23 million valuation
Wellthy focuses on type 2 diabetes care through a mobile app that lets users log their meals and monitor their blood sugar levels over time.
Wealthy’s revenue from increased by 10.4 times from Rs 8.56 Lacs to Rs 89.73 Lacs, on an expenditure of Rs 9.84 crore, a 2.56 times increase and the losses stood at Rs 8.69 crore.
2. Bharat pe Gives 20% Raise To Employees In Tough Time; Also Opens Up Hiring
At a time, when you see layoffs, cutting expenses and saving money for the future, BharatPe is talking appraisals with its employees and even giving pay raises.
Ashneer Grover, CEO and co-founder of BharatPe, told Business Insider that forgoing salaries and pay cuts for senior team management seems like a “good PR”, but on a personal level, Grover does not believe in that. He termed the voluntary salary deductions in many other startups as new “fashion”.
Employees at BharatPe received a 20% hike on average, It has also planned to hire new employees and double down on its merchant network once the lockdown is over.

4. Instagram just Enabled DMs on the web
Instagram today revealed it’s enabled web-based DMs to everyone. So finally, after several years of waiting to access your messages on the app, you can look at them in your browser.
So if you’re looking for your DMs on the web client, you can find it in the top-right corner of the site. You’ll be able to find all the DMs you can access on It’s got most of the features of the mobile Direct, including an emoji keyboard.
From now onwards, You are able to Dm’s on web client of Instagram.
5. Domino’s is now delivering essentials in partnership with ITC
In partnership with packaged consumer goods ITC Foods, the delivery infrastructure of Jubilant FoodWorks arm will be leveraged to help customers order everyday grocery essentials offered by ITC Foods. The service initially began with Bengaluru, followed by Noida, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai & Hyderabad.
To place orders, consumers can use the Domino’s app to order packs of flour, spices and other staples. However, the current partnership will see the two come together to ensure the delivery of the most essential food items.
